Zone Technique was created by Dr. Pete Goldman in 2002. He started learning Dr. Thurman Fleet's Zone Therapy in the early 1990s from several of Dr. Fleet's main disciples. Dr. Goldman then refined what he had been taught and Zone Technique was born.

In the 1930s, Dr. Fleet taught that the six main systems of the body are regulated by specific centers in the brain, functioning as the positive pole of the body, with corresponding points in the spinal cord acting as the negative pole. Disruptions in these centers, caused by emotional, physical, or chemical stress, lead to a loss of normal function.
With Zone Technique, the Zone doctor examines the patient to determine which of the brain centers are not in harmony with the systems they control.
This is done by the Zone doctor feeling specific points on the patient’s head. These points are related to the six brain centers by nerve connections. When a brain center is not sending the proper signals to its system, all bodily material associated with that system suffers. In order to correct this, the zone technique doctor stimulates specific points in the spinal cord.

Leading the Way in Healing—Get to Know Dr. Pete
Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Pete Goldman is the founder of the Zone School of Healing and the creator of the Zone Technique. With a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life College of Chiropractic in Georgia and a BA in economics from Brandeis University, Dr. Pete brings a unique combination of unparalleled healing results and the ability to teach at the highest level.
In his chiropractic practice, patients have flown in from over 30 different cities worldwide, with over 200 clients driving four hours each way for a five-minute Zone adjustment. His roster of patients includes many of the world’s top professional athletes, drawn to his unparalleled ability to resolve musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Pete is a lifelong martial artist who holds black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (under Carlos Sapao) and Full Contact Karate (under the Kyokushin legend Soshu Shigeru Oyama). In 1991, he represented the USA in Holland's European Full Contact Karate Championships. He was also a four-year varsity tennis player at Brandeis University.
Dr. Pete’s Zone School has empowered over 1,400 chiropractors, doctors, and healers worldwide with techniques not commonly understood or taught, leading to remarkable results in their practices. His mission is to share this revolutionary healing method, allowing practitioners to elevate their skills and transform lives in ways they never could before.
